About
Built for homeowners who actually want to maintain their homes
HomeMaintIQ started with a simple observation: the information needed to maintain any home properly already exists — it's in the owner's manuals. Nobody reads them. We built AI to read them instead.
Why we built this
Every home has equipment. Every piece of equipment has a maintenance schedule. That schedule is in the owner's manual — specific to your exact model, not a generic guess. The problem is that nobody has time to read, organize, and act on dozens of manufacturer manuals.
We built HomeMaintIQ to do that work automatically. You tell us what equipment you have. We find the manual, extract the schedule, and keep you on track with the right reminder at the right time.
Why we're built to last
Bootstrapped from day one
No venture capital. No pressure to pivot, acquire, or shut down on an investor's timeline. We control our roadmap.
Public changelog
We publish what ships every month. No vaporware. No promises. Just what's been built and delivered.
Your data is always yours
Proof-of-care PDF export means your maintenance records are always downloadable — regardless of what happens.
What happened to Centriq
Centriq shut down on January 31, 2025 — 400,000 users lost their home's maintenance system with no warning. It was VC-backed and couldn't find a sustainable business model. We've designed HomeMaintIQ from the start to be a sustainable, self-funded business — because that's the only way to make a product you can depend on long-term.
